Tirzepatide Reconstitution Guide: A Microdosing Perspective
Microdosing demands precision in reconstitution. A weekly user injecting 0.5 mg has wide tolerance — being off by 5 units doesn't move the needle. A microdoser drawing 7 units of 5 mg/mL solution has zero margin: a 1-unit error is a 14% dose change. Use the lowest BAC water volume that still gives clean syringe-unit math, and verify each draw against the calculator. The math below uses standard examples; for microdosing-specific reconstitution targets see our microdose calculator.

Reconstitution Directions
Research Use Only
This guide is for research and educational purposes only. This information is not medical advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical guidance.
Preparation
- Clean workspace thoroughly or use HEPA flow hood for professional setup
- Gather all required materials:
- Put on sterile gloves
- Calculate required BAC water volume using calculator
Sterilization
- Swab vial tops with alcohol swabs
- Allow alcohol to completely dry
- Sterilize workspace surface
- Prepare sterile syringes
Reconstitution
- Draw calculated BAC water volume
- Inject slowly down the vial wall
- Do not shake the vial
- Gently swirl until dissolved
Storage
- Store at 2-8°C (36-46°F)
- Protect from light
- Use within 30 days
- Store in peptide storage case
Important: Always maintain sterile technique throughout the process. Never shake the vial as this can damage the peptide. Allow reconstituted solution to sit for 5-10 minutes before first use.
